The Dún Laoghaire Centre first opened its doors in 1976, as Ireland’s very first covered, multi-storey shopping centre, right in the heart of a town that has always drawn people to its harbour, its piers and its sea air.
Half a century on, the building has changed with the town around it: renovated, refreshed and now rebranded, but the idea at its core hasn’t moved an inch. This is still the easiest place in Dún Laoghaire to get everything done, and to enjoy doing it.
